Raising Canes, LLC is dedicated to bringing you the most advanced canes in the world. Raising Canes, LLC is a small, privately held company owned by Dr. James G. Hannoosh and Linda A. Hannoosh, R.N. Dr. Hannoosh, along with his father, hold the original, worldwide patents on the Raising Cane design.  The company was founded in June of 1996, is fully insured, and capable of delivering products of the highest quality. Raising Canes, LLC developed, designed, and marketed the new Ultralite™ Cane in for production of May 2004. They are proud to release this new walking cane known as Ultralite™ : The world's lightest walking cane.

James M. Hannoosh, Sales and Marketing Manager. James is a young motivated employee with an educational background in business from his undergraduate study at Hartwick College. He has been out of school for 2 years now working on the Raising Cane and recently the Ultralite Cane.

Linda A. Hannoosh, RN Vice President. Linda has worked in the medical industry as an Operating Room nurse for over 25 years. She brings Raising Canes, LLC extensive knowledge of the customers needs. She has worked hard to develop this new walking cane known as Ultralite™.

Dr. James G. Hannoosh, PhD Owner Raising Canes, LLC. Dr. Hannoosh is the founder of Raising Canes a manufacturer of the world’s first self righting walking cane. He began the company in 1996 and has won numerous design awards from the invention of the Raising Cane. He achieved his PhD in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and he did his undergraduate work at Worcester Polytechnical Institute.
